Johnny A. has paid his dues as one of Boston's most admired rock guitarists. He's played the clubs for years in various incarnations and is perhaps best known for anchoring Peter Wolf's solo band. The latest turn in Johnny's career is a CD of his own, "sometime tuesday morning." It's an instrumental disc in which he stretches his chops more widely than anyone expected - from swing/lounge music to pop, blues, and country. It combines the raw edge for which he is known, with a growing finesse and maturity. It's music to do just about anything by - and has an erotic edge, as well.
